another exciting day in Lisbon
Today I got on a ferry to cross the river Tejo and to hike all the way to the Cristo-Rei monument which is a gigantic Jesus statue -similar to the one in Rio de Janeiro - overlooking Lisbon and the 25 de Abril Bridge.
To some extent Lisbon reminds me of San Francisco. The 25 de Abril Bridge looks quite similar to the Golden Gate Bridge, trams are running up and down the numerous hills and quite often it is foggy in the morning.
