The most serious threat to the United States?

Well, there are several serious ones, but I agree that the number one threat to the well-being of Americans is indeed America’s lack of fiscal responsibility.

These three videos are part of an insightful documentary on America’s four deficits:

1. the budget deficit
2. a savings deficit
3. the trade deficit
4. a serious leadership deficit

The documentary explains how we got here and where we’re headed.

It’s my be scary to be fully aware of the scale of the problem facing the U.S. but I’m convinced that  there is still hope that things work out better than it looks these days. Check out my post “things look pretty bad, don’t they? yet there’s reason to be optimistic” from October 22nd.
